• Coastal Maritime Humidity: Although the structural components are professionally sealed with premium marine varnish, avoid installing the artwork on open outdoor patios directly exposed to intense sea spray or direct rain.
• Harsh Sunlight Exposure: Avoid hanging the painting in permanent, direct midday sunlight to preserve the absolute color fastness of the rich matte turquoise pigments.
• Abrasive Friction: The lower sandy texture is naturally rugged and abrasive by artistic design; avoid hard friction with silk fabrics or harsh hand rubbing to prevent micro-particle shedding or wear on the gold leaf boundaries.

Care & Preservation Protocol

• Routine Dusting: Cleaning the surface with water, damp cloths, chemical detergents, or industrial solvents is strictly prohibited. Clear dust particles using a wide, ultra-soft cosmetic brush passed very gently over the gold leaf and turquoise contours, or use a manual air blower on a completely cool, low-velocity setting.
• Storage & Relocation: Wrap the surface first in acid-free baking paper to protect the delicate gold leaf layer, followed by a heavy layer of shock-absorbing bubble wrap. Always store the artwork vertically inside a custom-cushioned wooden crate to eliminate any structural strain.
